Europe 2012 – Marseilles, France!

Marseilles, France – June 15 – June 16, 2012

I was just here for a lay-over as I was on my way to Switzerland. I took the train from Barcelona to the south of France, a town called Marseilles. To be honest, this place kind of freaked me out, just because of the things I saw there. Law enforecement had a heavy presence, and for the first time in my life, I saw groups of miliary personnel in public places armed with automatic rifles and military gear. On a positive note, the food delicious and the port of Marseilles was beautiful! I stayed at a hostel for the night, and then continued on my way to Switzerland (through Lyon, France) the next morning. Here are some more pictures:
